Record setting food bank drive at Anzac School and Bill Woodward School

The Food Bank Drive at both Bill Woodward (BWS) and Anzac School was a HUGE success this year!! The students and teachers collectively brought in more food items this year than any previous year, with a total of 1,268 items!! The Grade 9 Career and Technology Studies class took over the Food Bank Drive this year and held a homeroom class competition to see which class could bring in the most food items. Mrs. Banks 3/4 class won at Anzac school, and Mrs. Savill's 7/8 class won at BWS!

Both schools would also like to give a big thank you to the Fort McMurray First Nation 468 for donating $5,000! The money was used to purchase food for the Food Bank Drive from Anzac Grocery. Thank you to everyone for your generous donations to such an amazing organization that helps so many families in need.
